Here we are at the Milwood Mansion to unveil my drawing of Scott Mayer's incredible house.

The owner of Milwood Mansion, Scott Mayers, did not want to see the drawing until it was finished, so we set the thing up in his living room and covered it with a sheet. There was quite a gasp when it was unveiled!

Afterwards, I was a pretty smug guy, swilling the usual chard. . .

Of course, some of Scott's friends were frankly, unimpressed.

My friend Peter Moruzzi, author of HAVANA BEFORE CASTRO and PALM SPRINGS HOLIDAY (both of which I designed for him) was good enough to stop by.

"You see - he even got all the lamps and gargoyles!"

A general view after the unveiling.

Many of Scott's friends were there, and they marveled over the drawing, and a few of them bought the BIG prints I was to make for them.

Scott appreciates the drawing from afar.

"How does he get all that detail in there?"

Scott was very pleased with the drawing - as was I. He moved some stuff around on the walls and made a prominent display of it in the living room.
